Recycling Tips for Plastic Grocery Bag
A huge source of plastic landfill waste is the ubiquitous plastic grocery bag. There are several options for recycling, reducing and reusing plastic grocery bags. First, you can purchase inexpensive cloth grocery bags. If you are handy with a needle, you might make your own grocery bags out of recycled fabric. Old sheets blankets and towels work well.
I choose the plastic grocery bags, but I opt to reuse them.
-Plastic grocery bags make excellent liners for small trash cans and waste baskets in bathrooms, nurseries and even in the classroom.
-I use the larger plastic grocery bags for my 13 gallon kitchen trash can.
