Is sustainable energy less expensive than renewable energy?
I assume sustainable energy is the same as renewable energy.
Renewable energy is usually very expensive to have installed in places like homes. but if maintained properly a person will save a ton of money in the long term.
Here is an example:
To provide solar power to a average home to provide electricity during the year. It will cost around $20,000. now you will get a few thousand back as a tax rebates and power company rebates (sometimes) you will need to keep the system maintained once a year, lets call that another $250 per year + the cost of replacing damage caused by weather etc . estimate the average electric bill at 125-150 a month (yes I know it might be higher in the summer and lower in the winter, i am averaging and guesstimating here)
…
+1800
…
Carry the 1 lol ok anyways, with those estimations a person would begin to save money at around 10 to 12 years so the answer is Sustainable energy in the form of solar will save you plenty of money in the long run, but not up front.
