1. When it is hot outside you don’t need to have your hot water heater on as high as you have it in the winter. You can save money by turning your water heater down a few degrees to help save on energy costs. You may not even notice that the water heater has been turned down since it is warmer outside.

2. Cooking indoors can heat up the house. You can eat more cold meals like sandwiches, cereal and salads or you can cook outdoors to help save on energy costs. Start up the grill and cook outdoors and it will help you save money on energy costs.

3. A clothes dryer heats up to dry cloths. You need to dry your laundry but you don’t have to do it in a clothes dryer. Instead you can hang your clothes outdoors to dry them.

4. Turn the thermostat on your air conditioner up a couple of degrees. You may not be quite as comfortable but you will save money on your electric bill…
