Going Green Has Never Been So Simple

With the constant chatter about global warming, carbon footprints, and going green it is hard to keep up with the ever-changing means of living an eco-friendly lifestyle. While some of the ideas and concepts may seem out there and far fetched it doesn’t take much to see how humans damage the environment.

With just a few easy to accomplish lifestyle changes anyone can lower their carbon footprint to help protect the environment and as an added bonus one can keep money where it belongs, in the bank.

Going Green in the Kitchen

While it may seem harder to reduce energy use in the kitchen because that is where the family spends most of its time. This is just not the case. For instance, when was the last time the temperature was checked in the refrigerator and freezer? Refrigerators are supposed to be kept at a temperature range of 37-40 degrees F and freezers need to be kept at a range from 0-5 degrees F. I
