A humane way of getting rid of ants
Get a straw from Mcdonalds, that way it will be more environmentally friendly because it would have only been discarded. Wash it and allow to sun dry.
Take a cup of sun-warmed water and sprinkle just a quarter of a spoon of sugar into it and stir well.
Use a cloth to spread the liquid around the floor, worktop where the ant appear, and wait.
Ready the now dry straw and an egg cup. When you see and ant, place the straw between your lips and suck gently and quickly place your finger tip over the mouth piece of the straw. The ant can now be transferred safely into the eggcup and transported outside to a more appropriate place.
Good for you in caring for fellow creatures. If only more people were willing to take a little more time and effort the planet could be saved from an enormous amount of chemicals every day in millions of ways.
